"Ursa's Prayer" (2024) is a short film I developed and animated as my graduate thesis project. The visuals draw significant inspiration from the media I engaged with during this period, particularly Steven Universe (2013) and the films created by the Irish animation studio, Cartoon Saloon.

In a world where ancient gods are forgotten, a young girl, Ursa, ventures into a mysterious forest guided by her faith. She discovers the hidden shrine of the Moon Goddess and offers prayers, receiving a blessing in return. However, she soon realizes that the goddess’s gift comes with an unknown cost.

The snippet on the left represents my first attempt at creating an animatic, while the one on the right depicts a segment of Ursa's (the main protagonist) backstory.
"Me n' The Devil" (2024) is a short film I conceptualized as part of our first group project during our final year at university. The completion of the film was made possible through the collaborative efforts of my teammates, Chan Yian Zheng and Chin Yi Zhe.

In this action-packed slapstick comedy, Horace - a stoic, sharp-eyed grim reaper - is trying to capture a notorious fugitive. But he’s not alone—his chaotic companion, a mischievous pet goose from hell, adds havoc to the chase. Together, they stumble through absurd encounters and over-the-top antics, proving that even death can have a sense of humor.
